Zero Expansion Glass Ceramic

  The main components of zero expansion glass ceramic are Li2O, Al2O3 and SiO2;β-quartz solid solution as main crystalline phase formed after strictly controlled crystallization process.

  We supply LW1 zero expansion glass ceramic. It is the preferred material for precision optical components such as laser gyroscope cavity, astronomic telescope glass blanks, astronomical spectrograph and radome. It has various extraordinary properties, including:

-High mechanical strength

-Good thermal expansion and thermal shock resistance

-High chemical resistance

- Low dielectric loss

-Excellent electric insulativity


  CDGM zero expansion glass ceramic is available in the form of strips, blocks and cut blanks.
