High transmittance optical glass refers to the glass that has improved the transmittance in the range of blue-violet light and visible light through process improvement on ordinary optical glass. It can significantly improve the imaging quality of optical system with long optical path. This glass is suitable for high-grade binoculars and digital projector.
These special glass types with high transmittance are identified with the suffix "GT" or "TT"(each letter is acronym of Chinese Pinyin). "GT" means high transmittance glass; "TT" means ultra-high transmittance glass. For example, H-ZF52GT、H-ZF52TT. Compared with common optical glass, high transmittance and ultra-high transmittance optical glass only improve the transmittance, while the other properties remain unchanged.
